Chef Lauren Posa, Chef and Restaurant Manager of The Farmacy, has been passionate about the joy that nourishing, clean, and delicious foods can bring to the people around her. Her study of food has been diverse and hands-on, starting with an Associate’s Degree in Sustainable Cuisine from Colorado Mountain College. From there, Lauren fell in love with the agriculture of food. As a manager of a permaculture farm on Oahu, Lauren started a CSA and brought schools onto the farm to further share the love of the nourishing food that grew there with her community.

How The Farmacy Was Born
Lauren moved back to the mainland where she became a chef at a resort. Soon after, she started her own business as a private chef with a long list of loyal clients. In the face of health challenges, Lauren enrolled in The Wellness Way’s Academy to learn how to restore her own health and support others on their wellness journey. She combined her new education with providing simple, nourishing food as a way to encourage others through meal prep and as a private chef. The next logical step was a quick-serve restaurant to broaden her reach. The Farmacy was born!
